Hello and welcome to this week’s Sunday Style with Glamour Farms! This week I’m inviting you to join me on my front porch as I share how I styled one basic black tunic, a pair of leggings, + tall boots six different ways by simply changing the jewelry and top-layering piece. With little effort, “Poof!” just like that, a whole new outfit comes to life. So simple, I was able to effortlessly create each outfit on my front porch while I was taking these pictures. Now that’s simple, friends!

One: The Easy-To-Wear Staple Pieces

I had so much fun pulling today’s blog post together! I challenged myself to take three easy-to-wear wardrobe staples: a basic black tunic, black leggings, + tall black boots and create six new outfits simply by changing a few keys pieces. I’m thrilled with the results, y’all!
Under it all, I’m wearing my Ahh-Mazing Tank Short Shaper – Black (one size fits most) // Odette Earring – Gold // gold + black tassel necklace: Charming Charlie // tall black boots: Nordstrom Rack a few years ago (here are a couple similar styles: one and two)
I’m wearing this Glamour Farms Brisk Days Top/Tunic in size small. I feel like this tunic is the equivalent of a little black dress… easily styled up or down with a quick change of accessories and layering pieces.
Here I’m keeping it simple with a monochromatic look and a touch of gold. All of the looks I’m sharing today are styled with leggings. This tunic pairs perfectly with jeans too. I even layered it over the top of a short black and white sundress, added black tights, and black booties for a polished, professional look.
It has a cowl neckline that pairs perfectly with a scarf, long statement necklace, or a sweet necklace at the neck.
Two: Styled with an Oversized Sweater
This oversized sweater has been a favorite of mine for the past year. It reminds me of a big, cozy blanket. These light green and gold earrings add a charming touch of color that’s unexpected and fun to the black and white color palette.
The tunic’s soft sleeves are long and sit just past my wrist bone. I like pushing my sleeves up and these stayed in place perfectly without stretching out.
Three: Styled with a Long Sweater Vest
Here I’ve added a long sweater vest to my three staple pieces. I would wear this outfit out to lunch with my girlfriends, to the movies, or when meeting with clients.
The front of the tunic has a darling cross body design that offers a relaxed feel around my tummy. The cross body design is sewn together underneath so there’s no worry of it coming open!
Four: Styled with a Cardigan + Scarf
I shared this gray Glamour Farms cardigan with you a few weeks back. It has quickly become my go-to sweater for morning walks to the school bus stop, a cozy sweater to snuggle with on the couch, and the extra layer I need when the air conditioning gets a little too low.
If you love clothes with pockets, you may enjoy how I styled one dress with pockets four different ways last week.
The hi-low design makes this tunic the perfect partner for leggings.
Five: Styled with a Plaid Shirt
I’m crazy about plaid. In fact, one of my favorite shirts to wear is my dad’s plaid flannel I used to wear in high school. It’s old, missing buttons, and now bears a few holes… all those bumps and bruises hold many wonderful childhood memories.
This plaid shirt is from Target last year. I’ve shared these silver hoop earrings a few times over the past couple of weeks here and here. They also come in gold. They are another one of my Glamour Farms favorite!
This tunic is super soft, lightweight, and has a nice stretch to it.
Six: A Little Black Tunic Meets a Fancy Little Jacket
I found this boucle jacket a while back at a thrift store. It makes me smile just looking at it. I’ve dressed it up with pearls and a little black dress, as well as distressed jeans, a black tank, and heels. I love how it compliments the three staple pieces.
