Serving Food Using Vintage Milk Glass

I’m a collector of vintage milk glass. I find tremendous beauty in the bright white details and soft lines. I love imagining the history… who owned it, how they used it, the journey it traveled to get to me. I started my collection four years ago and it’s grown to fill an entire china cabinet… plus a bit more. Over the years, I’ve scoured thrift stores, yard sales, even family members homes for the perfect pieces to build my collection. I rarely spend above a few dollars for each piece which makes the hunt even more thrilling for me.

Every opportunity I get, I incorporate my milk glass pieces into everyday dining as well as special occasions. It would be a shame to leave them sitting on a shelf collecting dust! Life is simply much too short not to enjoy them.

Here are a few ways I’ve repurposed my milk glass pieces into food serving dishes for a wine and cheese party. I hope they inspire you to shop your home and reimagine what you already have on hand!
