My Fall Dining Room

Happy first day of fall and welcome to my fall dining room, y’all! As the leaves begin to fall from the trees and the air becomes less heavy, I’m reminded of the delightful anticipation a new season brings to our lives. As we welcome the change from summer to fall into our homes, it’s also the perfect time to invite the promise of fresh starts and new beginnings into our hearts. If there’s something you’ve been dreaming of or longing to do, now is the perfect time to do it!

Today, I’m sharing my fall dining room décor. Fall is in the air in my home and is weaving itself from room to room with neutral shades of whites, greys, and woods with fresh touches of greenery, cool metals, soft stripes, and fun checkers. I hope you find a bit of inspiration here to add a seasonal touch to your home.

Fall Fireplace and Mantle

This year I’m keeping my fall decor neutral and budget-friendly by shopping my home and investing in timeless pieces that I feel confident will carry over each year. I’ve added fall touches to my entryway, my coffee bar, and my dining room. Once fresh pumpkins make their way to Central Texas, I’ll add some to my family room and closer to Halloween my front porch will get a bit of fall love.

On my fireplace mantle, I used pieces I already had in my home. I added Hobby Lobby pumpkins I purchased last year, old bottles, old books and Bibles (including my husband’s childhood Bible), broken chair legs, thrifted and IKEA greenry. The only new decor on the mantle are the burlap leaves I recently found at Hobby Lobby for a few dollars. They have wire attached to the back of them so they are easy to wrap around the chair legs and to intertwine amongst the books. They would be darling strung onto a garland.

The ladder is a Round Top Antiques week find I scored for $15 a few shows back!

The extra large cutting board is also a Round Top score. The broken clock sign I found on clearance several years ago and I’ve yet to replace the hands… I find it charming just as it is. The two long pieces leaning against the fireplace with holes in them are from old barrels I found during a junkin’ trip with my dear friend Laura from Junque Cottage. Thrifted pumpkins, gourds, and an apple basket pull everything together with an unexpected and interesting touch of fall.

Fall Dining Room Table

I had so much fun decorating this fall tablescape! Just like the mantle, the decor is a mixture of different pieces I found in my home and yard.

I love the casual and inviting feeling the blend of textures and neutrals brings to this tablescape. I paired a few new Hobby Lobby white pumpkins with pinecones from my yard and pieces I already had on hand. I used candles, cigar boxes, a dough bowl, milk glass, greenery, old bottles, wood bowls, and mercury glass candle holders. I’m writing a post for next week that will show step-by-step how I styled it. Stay tuned!

Do you spy the botanical prints on the wall? I’m currently hosting a $100 giveaway to the talented artist’s shop who created them, Kelly from Lettered and Lined. Visit my Instagram account for all the details!

Here’s a little peak of my fall entryway decor I recently shared on the blog.

My table settings are casual, simple, and sweet. I paired thrifted napkins, thrifted and gifted napkin rings, thrifted leaf plates, IKEA dishes, Target dishes, and IKEA placemats. Again, everything I already had in my home.

Fall Coffee Bar

I found these darling white pumpkins at Target yesterday. At $1 a piece, I simply couldn’t resist. This inviting spot is my first stop each morning. I love how crisp and refreshing it feels with the white tone on tone palette.

Fall Inspired Basket Gallery Wall

I added a few baskets to my basket gallery wall. The neutral browns feels very fall to me. In the corner, sits an old farmhouse chair, my favorite handmade Gather sign from Jennifer at Wall Art Showcase, and a basket of fresh grass.
